This piece features delicate Lord Huron lyrics embroidery ("I was born on the lake and I don't want to leave it") and two storybook-style hand-drawn designs that capture the melancholic, nautical spirit of the track. 100% Organic ringspun combed cotton. 180gsm. Unisex fit.
No waistband. Size up for an oversized fit.
Sweatshirts & Hoodies:
80% Ringspun cotton, 20% polyester. 280gsm. Unisex fit.
1x1 rib cuffs, waistband, and collar. Size up for an oversized fit.
Please note: The design is embroidered on a backing. The backing catches the thread on the other side to keep the design secure and make sure it lasts long. It might be slightly stiff upon reception due to travel, but it will soften up and come away after many washes but this will not affect your item as it is stitched into the fabric of the garment. You can read more about that here. If you are sensitive to textures please size up.

SHIPPING METHOD AND TIME
All embroidered items are shipped from the UK.
My current processing time on all items is 25 business days. That is because all items are made to order! If you need your order by a certain date please get in touch beforehand. For shipping times, please refer to my FAQ here.
Please note: Shipping times are estimated. Unexpected delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
DUTIES AND TAXES (VAT/TAX) - INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
EU: For all EU countries, duties and customs are already included in the shipping price. This will be shown at checkout.
Australia: GST is already included in the shipping price.
For deliveries outside the European Union and the UK (including the United States of America, Canada, and other countries): additional charges such as VAT, import duties, and customs fees may apply upon import. These charges are determined by your local customs office, based on the country of origin and the classification of the goods.
We do not collect or estimate these charges at checkout. The buyer is responsible for any additional import fees and charges. Please contact your local customs office for details regarding your country’s regulations.
Orders that are returned to me will only be held for up to 30 days. Orders that are not claimed within this timeframe will be considered abandoned.

Care Instructions
This is a custom embroidered item - please treat it with care. I recommend to wash inside-out on 30 degrees cycles only with similar colours and air dry.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Wash inside out.
- Do not dry clean. Chemicals used in dry cleaning can damage the embroidery!
- Do not bleach.
- Never iron over the imprint. If necessary, iron on the reverse side around the backing (never on!).

How long is your processing time? +
At the moment my processing time on all orders is 25 business days as every item is handmade to order. In case of an order with multiple items, they may not be ready at the same time and will be shipped out once all items are ready.
In case of an issue with a specific item, orders will be shipped out once all items are ready. If you'd prefer to have the order partially dispatched please let me know!
Can I fast-track or expedite my order? +
Every piece is handmade to order, so I can’t always guarantee expedited processing - but I’ll do my best!
If you need something by a specific date, please email me before placing your order. In some cases, I can fast-track production for a small priority fee (depending on current workload and shipping destination).
How long does shipping take? +
Domestic shipping - 1-2 business days delivery aim.
EU: 2-5 business days delivery aim, import tax included - signed delivery.
International: 2-5 business days delivery aim - signed delivery.
Need it for a specific date? +
I know many of my embroidered pieces are bought as special gifts. While my standard crafting time is 25 working days, I do offer a Fast-Track service for rush orders. If you have a tight deadline, please contact me before ordering, and I will do our best to prioritise your piece.
I received my embroidered order, but there is a white material behind the design, what is this? +
All embroidered designs are are embroidered on a white backing. Embroidery backing is vital to producing high-quality designs as it protects the garment, the stitching and the machinery!
The design is embroidered straight through the material and the backing catches the thread on the other side to keep the design secure. Eventually, this will start to come away after many washes but this will not affect your item as it is stitched into the fabric of the garment.
The size of the backing is the size of the design.
